STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2024 – 2026
The Lyceum is an inclusive, intentional community which is maintained through the Lyceum’s Honor Code. The values central to our mission are respect, integrity, honesty, equity and accountability.
A1. The school takes its commitment to its students seriously and expects students and parents to do the same. Once admitted to The Lyceum all students and parents are responsible for reading and understanding the guidelines in The Lyceum Student Handbook and are bound by the same during the two years of their academic studies at The Lyceum.
A2. Students who breach the Honour Code are liable to probation, suspension or expulsion.
A3. Lyceum students are expected to embrace and uphold the values and ethos of the School, maintain high academic, intellectual, ethical and moral standards and behave in a manner that maintains the dignity of their person, families, and the School at all times. Academically they are required to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance and a minimum of 65% grade aggregate in all subjects at all times.
B1. If a student is found to be engaging in an activity that is deemed to breach the School’s Honour Code and bring disrepute to the Institution or any of its members (students or staff) whether it be through social media, rumour mongering or through involvement in any criminal, political assault or conduct that may cause or risks causing riot, disruption, or breach of peace or risks exposing the School to civil or administrative liability or reputational loss will be liable to appropriate sanctions, including but not limited to suspension and/or expulsion. The School reserves, without prejudice, the right to ask a student to withdraw from the School at any time at its sole discretion and without explanation.
B2. The School’s discretionary authority and decision made thereunder to ask a student to withdraw or expel on any grounds including, but not limited to, the grounds listed herein may not be questioned or challenged in any court, tribunal or other authority.
B3. The Lyceum is duly bound to inform other institutions to which the student applies about the student’s record while at The Lyceum including any misdemeanor, suspension or expulsion.
B4. The Lyceum has the authority to amend and/or revise Standard Terms and Conditions, without notice, as circumstances require, from time to time.
B5. All fees once paid, are non-refundable in any circumstances whatsoever.
• Changes will be revised annually to offset inflation and/or unforeseen expenses.
• Security deposits are refundable only when a student has studied two years at the school and all dues for the two years have been paid.
• CAIE results will be released upon settlement of all outstanding fees.

We also hereby acknowledge and confirm that with our signatures we waive our rights to litigation/complaint against The Lyceum, its administration, teachers and employees to dispute the rules and regulations of the School in any manner whatsoever.
